Request to limit driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles is now in effect until at least 4 p.m. Sunday,June 23, 2024. Increased concentrations of ozone continue to beof concern on Saturday and Sunday. Ozone concentrations in theUnhealthy for Sensitive Groups category are most likely forlocations in and near the Denver Metro area, particularly inlocations to the south and west, including the foothills. Forareas included in this advisory that are not expected to reach theUnhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG) air quality designation, werequest that activities, such as driving non-ZEV vehicles (i.e.,gas or diesel), be reduced to lessen the impacts on neighboringair quality. Additional air pollution in this region may directlyworsen air quality or contribute to precursors which may alsoadversely affect air quality.
