Locationsinclude, but are not limited to Beulah.WHEN...900 AM Wednesday June 26 to 900 AM Thursday June 27IMPACTS...The Oak Ridge Fire is burning near the Pueblo/ CusterCounty line, approximately 3 miles northwest of Beulah. Smokeshould begin to dissipate as daytime atmospheric mixing increases.Thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday afternoon, which canproduce gusty, erratic winds that could send smoke in anydirection. As the wind dies down and smoke settles late Wednesdaynight into Thursday morning, moderate to heavy smoke is possiblein Beulah.HEALTH INFORMATION...Public Health Recommendations: If smoke isthick or becomes thick in your neighborhood you may want to remainindoors. This is especially true for those with heart disease,respiratory illnesses, the very young, and older adults. Considerlimiting outdoor activity when moderate to heavy smoke is present.Consider relocating temporarily if smoke is present indoors and ismaking you ill. If visibility is less than 5 miles in smoke inyour neighborhood, smoke has reached levels that are unhealthy.
