Request to limit driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles is now in effect until at least 4 p.m. Tuesday,June 11, 2024. Although ozone concentrations will remain in theGood to Moderate range on Monday, increasingly warm and sunnyconditions with building pollution levels will result in ozoneconcentrations possibly reaching the Unhealthy for SensitiveGroups category Tuesday afternoon and evening, particularly fromthe western suburbs of Denver northward to Boulder.For areasincluded in this advisory that are not expected to reach theUnhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG) air quality designation, werequest that activities, such as driving non-ZEV vehicles (i.e.,gas or diesel), be reduced to lessen the impacts on neighboringair quality. Additional air pollution in this region may directlyworsen air quality or contribute to precursors which may alsoadversely affect air quality.
