High Surf Advisory issued November 13 at 1:47AM PST until November 13 at 9:00PM PST by NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 10 to 15 feet, highest on westand northwest-facing beaches. There will be widespreaddangerous rip currents.* WHERE...San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa BarbaraCounty Central Coast Beaches.* WHEN...Until 9 PM PST this evening.* IMPACTS...There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Ripcurrents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Largebreaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches androcks, and capsize small boats near shore.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor coastal flooding is possible on westand northwest-facing beaches a couple of hours on either side ofthe high tide this morning, which is around 720 AM PST.Remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions, or staynear occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadlylocations in such conditions, so stay off the rocks.
