Moderate to highheat risk is expected which will impact much of the population andthose sensitive to the heat.* WHERE...The San Joaquin Valley, West Side Mountains, lower SierraNevada foothills, and the Kern River Valley.* WHEN...Until 11 AM PDT Tuesday.* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly duringextreme heat.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Little relief is expected from the heatduring the overnight hours this weekend into Tuesday morning, andthe heat risk will remain moderate to high during these hours.Minimum temperatures in Fresno and Bakersfield will remain in themid to upper 70's.Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out ofthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles.
