Heat Advisory issued June 22 at 1:03AM PDT until June 23 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA* WHAT...Temperatures up to 95 to 100 expected.* WHERE...Eastern San Gabriel Mountains.* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT Sunday.* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out ofthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morningor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion andheat stroke.To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety andHealth Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks inshaded or air conditioned environments.
