Adverse health effects increase as airquality deteriorates.Coarse particulate matter - also known as PM-10 - is an aircontaminant that can aggravate heart and lung disease conditions,especially in older adults, children, and those with asthma. If you encounter blowing dust or blowingsand on the roadway or see it approaching, pull off the road as faras possible and put your vehicle in park.
