Minor floodingoccurs along the river upstream and downstream from the gage onthe 14th Street bridge. Portions of the River Walk in Columbusbegin to flood and will be closed to the public. The water levelcontinues to approach the foundation of the Phenix CityAmphitheater in Alabama.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 10:00 AM EDT Monday /9:00 AM CDT Monday/ the stage was27.2 feet and steady.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.4feet this afternoon.
