Around 5-25 cm of snow is expected from Sunday afternoon, in the mountains there will be more. The snow level will initially be 200-300 meters, but will decrease during the afternoon, first in the north. In the outer regions, a combination of sleet and hail is initially expected, but later on will precipitation come as snow. Vulnerable infrastructure can be affected due to accumulation of snow. Travel time may increase on some journeys. Local driving conditions may become difficult. Blowing snow at higher altitudes causes reduced visibility and possibly convoys and/or closed roads.Vulnerable installations and objects should be protected. Allow some extra time for transportation and driving. Use tires fit for winter conditions and use caution while driving. The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors.
